David Grisaffi's Firm And Flatten Your Abs
claims to reveal the secrets of getting rock solid abs without spending hours in the gym or thousands of dollars for
supplements and fat burning pills. David comes quickly to the core of his strategy: the "core" exercises. Each exercise is described in detail and small photos show the exact starting, mid, and end position. The photos are a bit small compared to other e-books, which makes it a little difficult for the beginner to get things 100% right. We always wonder why there are no professional photos in e-books like this, but that seems to be a general problem that most other e-books in this area have, too. The amount and quality of the presented exercises as well as the detailed background information are well researched and right to the point. Following David's workout program will most likely help building impressive abs. The problem of uncovering these abs from the layer of belly fat is mentioned in the book. However, in our opinion, the most important factor to handle this point, i.e. nutrition, is not discussed in sufficient detail. Overall rating: 4 / 5 |

| recommended for | beginners, intermediates and advanced sportsmen will find numerous exercises to boost their abs workout.
Overweight men and women, however, should look for an e-book that includes more details about how to burn fat
by changing one's diet, see for example this review. Skinny and normal weight people find lots of useful information, though. |
| customer feedback | "A common knock against abdominal strengthening books is that they are usually written by bodybuilders who don't
understand just how beginner some of us are, but Grisaffi allows you to start as a beginner and end as, well, as
someone with kick-ass abs." (excerpt from an actual customer review at thescamdetector.com) "The different levels of exercise are great and the photos are wonderful for helping you get the correct positioning." (excerpt from an actual customer review at ezinearticles.com) |
