Craig Ballantyne's Turbulence Training
claims to give you a lean body with as little as 3 workouts per week, each lasting less than 50 minutes.
The core principle of this training is to confront the body regularly with new training stimuli, instead of
sticking to one workout routine forever. This "turbulent" approach fixes the problem that the body adapts
to a training routine and progress comes to a halt. All this is true and every serious fitness maniac knows this problem. The way Craig presents the solution in his book, however, is a bit difficult to comprehend for beginners. In addition, the photos that explain each exercise are not always helpful. They are small and the models wear loose clothing that make it impossible to see any details of how an exercise should be performed. We can only hope that future editions will have better photos. Intermediate and advanced sportsmen (and women) will nevertheless find new inspiration for their fitness workouts in this book. It comes bundled with a number of useful bonuses, including the "Turbulence Training Nutrition Guide". Overall rating: 3 / 5 |

| customer feedback |
"If you have an exercise ball and a barbell in your home, you can easily execute all the workout routines in
your own home. This has allowed me to save up on gym membership fees and still get the lean body I want. My
body fat percentage has now dropped to 11% from a previous 18% when I first started with Turbulence Training." (excerpt from an actual customer review at ezinearticles.com) |
